Sharī‘ah Academy, International Islamic University, has inked two separate letters of Intent (LoI) with the Centre for Islamic Knowledge (CIK) in Toronto, Canada, and Imam Training Institute, United Kingdom, to promote joint academic and research activities between the participating institutions.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Bilao, President of Imam Training & Development Institute, and Mr. Hassam Kazi, Director of Program Development of Centre for Islamic Knowledge (CIK) Toronto, Canada, signed on behalf of their institutions, while Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram signed the Letters of Intent on behalf of the Shari‘ah Academy.

Through these documents, the participating institutions have committed to exerting their best efforts in fostering exchange programs, collaborative research initiatives, joint workshops and conferences, co-authored publications, and joint training programs. Both distinguished guests emphasized their determination to ensure the agreements become fully operational, leading to meaningful outcomes and fruitful initiatives. They also hoped that Shari‘ah Academy would provide expertise in Islamic law, Jurisprudence, and Islamic Banking.

Dr. Akram was joined by the scholars and officials of the Academy in expressing their resolve to revive the glory of the Shari‘ah Academy through the reactivation of its established programs and cutting-edge fresh initiatives, including national and international academic cooperation.
