Introduction
The international law has witnessed several new developments. New areas such as international criminal law, international legal regime of human rights, international environmental law and international trade and investment law have emerged at the international arena. These developments have not only led to the evolution and formation of new principles and norms in the international law but have also opened new avenues for academic research and endeavor. As a result scholarly work of considerable size has been and is being produced in every field of modern international law.
For the Muslim world, being an important segment of international community, these developments in particular the international criminal law and human rights are areas of attention and concern. It is generally believed that there are certain points of tension or even conflict between international law and Islamic law on the issue of human rights. Hence such issues should be thoroughly studied and analyzed in the light of principles of Islamic law.
Islamic law contains a large corpus of principles and rules in the areas referred to above. Hence it is required to examine the modern developments in international law and illustrate the parallel principles in Islamic law to check the compatibility of the both. This conference would provide an opportunity to explain the teachings of Islamic law on the issues of human rights and criminal law.

Guidelines for Submission of Research Papers:
An abstract of not more than 300 words typed on A4 size paper in double space on MS-Word along with detailed CV may be emailed to [email protected]
Only papers in the above -mentioned areas/ themes of the conference will be considered.
The researcher should abide by all the rules of research such as methodology and documenting references and sources.
The researcher should pay due care to the language and method of the research.
The paper should contain original research and it should not be the one already published elsewhere or presented in a conference or a seminar.
Research paper should comprise of 25-30pages (including bibliography) computer typed on A4 size page in MS Word file.
Chicago Manual of Style 2016 should be followed for references.
The annexure(s), bibliography, and indexes, if any, should be given at the end of research paper.
The first page should specify full title of the research paper, name, and designation of the researcher as well as work/academic affiliation, correspondence email and contact number.

بین الاقوامی قانون اپنی حالیہ تاریخ میں متعدد اہم تبدیلیوں سے گزرا ہے ۔ بین الاقوامی نظام ِقانون میں بین الاقوامی فوجداری قانون، بین الاقوامی قانون برائے حقوق انسانی ، بین الاقوامی ماحولیاتی قانون اور بین الاقوامی قانون برائےتجارت و سرمایہ کاری جیسے کئی نئے شعبے ابھر کر سامنے آئے ہیں۔ اس پیش رفت کے نتیجے میں نہ صرف یہ کہ بین الاقوامی قانون میں کئی نئے اصول اور قواعد متعارف ہوئے ہیں، بلکہ بہت سے نئے علمی موضوعات پر تحقیق و جستجو کے دروازے کھلے ہیں۔ نتیجتاً جدید بین الاقوامی قانون کے ہر شعبے میں قابل قدر علمی کام ہوا ہے اورتسلسل سے جاری ہے۔
بین الاقوامی برادری کا ایک اہم حصہ ہونے کے ناتے،مسلم دنیا کے لیے یہ پیش رفت خاص طور پر بین الاقوامی فوجداری قانون اور بین الاقوامی قانون برائےانسانی حقوق خصوصی توجہ اور تحقیق کی متقاضی ہے۔ جیسا کہ عام طور پرخیال کیا جاتا ہے کہ انسانی حقوق کے کئی معاملات پر بین الاقوامی قانون اور اسلامی قانون کے درمیان اختلاف راے پایا جاتا ہے۔ اس کے پیش نظر کسی حتمی نتیجے پر پہنچنے سے پہلےان جیسےامور کااسلامی قانون کے اصولوں کی روشنی میں مطالعہ کیا جانا چاہیے۔
اسلامی قانون میں السِیَر کے عنوان سے اصول و ضوابط کا ایک ایسامجموعہ پایا جاتا ہے جو ان جیسے تمام امور کے بارے میں راہنمائی فراہم کرتا ہے۔ البتہ ضرورت اس امر کی ہے کہ بین الاقوامی قانون میں حالیہ تبدیلیوں کا بغورجائزہ لیا جائے اور اسلامی قانون میں ان سے متعلقہ اصولوں کو نمایاں کیا جائے؛ تاکہ یہ بات واضح ہو سکے کہ جدیدبین الاقوامی قانون اسلامی قانون سے کس قدر ہم آہنگ ہے۔ یہ کانفرنس اسی سلسلے کی ایک کڑی ہے۔
